LIV North Announces New Additions to Aquatics Division

Liv North Inc., Aquatics Division has quickly ramped up and expanded our staffing in preparation for an exciting 2021. Ross Middleton, Director – LIV North Aquatics, is please to announce the addition of two key employees to bolster our Aquatics Division.

Introducing:

Lisa LaBerge, Sales and Account Manager for LIV North Aquatics. Lisa has been promoted to this position from our Fitness Division (formerly Advantage Fitness Sales). Lisa comes with a demonstrated history of working in the health and wellness industry and enjoys partnering with clients to create optimal experiences for their amenities.

Lisa’s previous experience combined with Liv North’s many cloud advantages make her an excellent source of information on aquatics and fitness, which will be a huge asset to our current and future customers.

To compliment Lisa’s talents and support our customer first philosophy, we have created a new position – Outdoor Pool Coordinator. This position will focus on the successful operation of our outdoor pool maintenance and staffing contracts. The outdoor pool season in Ontario ranges from 2 months to 5 months and can be a challenge ensuring the highest customer satisfaction. It is this reason LIV North has a dedicated Operations person to oversee this important seasonal position and ensure our customers receive the best experience.  

Milan Panday has been with Superior Pool, Spa and Leisure for the past 13 years which is now Liv North Aquatics. He has previously worked in the position of Lifeguard, Lifeguard Supervisor and is fully trained in operations. Milan will be our Outdoor Pool Coordinator utilizing his experience to ensure the outdoor pools are staffed properly and our customers expectations are exceeded.

LIV North Partners With Homeless Cars

While we were sad to part company with 14 of our ‘trusty’ service vehicles that have come to the end of their useful commercial life, we are thrilled that we were able to find a partner who could put them to even more valuable use.  

LIV North has partnered with Homeless Cars, a charitable foundation in Canada that accepts used vehicles and exclusively donates the proceeds of the sale of the vehicles to local shelters and food banks in the area. 

The proceeds from LIV North’s donation will be benefiting Seeds of Hope Foundation and Ve’ahavta, two important organizations that operate in the GTA. Seeds of Hope runs five housing projects, offers cooked meals every day, and programming and therapy.  Ve’ahavta is well known for their vans that drive around Toronto providing warm clothing, food and emergency care, as well as job training for people transitioning out of homelessness. 

Brian Townsend, Vice President of Operations, shares “We are proud to support  Homeless Cars.  As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disproportionately affect those low income individuals more likely to experience shelter and food insecurity, the need for donations is even more important today.” 

Facility Feature: 613Lift

Meet 613Lift, a 10,000 sq. ft powerlifting gym in Ottawa owned by Nicholas DiNardo. He runs a top of the line fitness facility catering to the lifting community of Ottawa. The atmosphere is electric, motivating and non judgemental! 613Lift is the first “OFFICIAL HAMMER STRENGTH TRAINING FACILITY” in Ottawa; with over 16 plate-loaded and selectorized Hammer Strength pieces.

Facility Feature: Terminal City Club

LIV North is proud to partner with The Terminal City Club in Vancouver with new Life Fitness, Woodway and Wattbike products.

Terminal City Club was founded in 1892. It has grown to be one of the finest private clubs in Canada with an incomparable array of benefits and services for their members.

The project itself took nine months to complete and aimed to refresh cardio equipment while enhancing the user experience and programmability. 

By providing product information related to user experience, service and technology LIV North was able to assist in the best end result for Terminal City Club members. In addition, we provided finance information, layout consultation, enhanced their service and support and prepared for an efficient delivery + installation.

The centre features a wide variety of products, specifically the new Life Fitness Integrity SE3 HD Cardio products, Woodway 4Front with ProSmart 10″ Console and Wattbike Atom X.
